The Edomites began counting their years from the destruction of the Second Temple in 3828 BCE. That is the equivalent of 70 AD in the Christian calendar. However, the Messiah ministered for approximately 3 years, so they deleted the 3 most important years in the entire history of the world from their calendar!

To get any date in the Gregorian calendar you have to subtract 67 from the current year. Take for example the year 1947-1948 when the Edomite state was established: 1947 minus 67 equals 1880. 1880 plus 3828 equals 4708. That infallible formula will work for any date in the table.

The Edomites use the Christian calendar to calculate dates from 70 AD. But they deleted the 3 most important years in the entire history of the world when the Messiah ministered, died, and rose triumphant from the grave!

The table ends in 1953-1954, but the calculations for the Edomite year of Creation is the same up to their present year of 5783.
