RamaDAMN

During the "holy" month of Ramadan, the worst flooding in 80 years swept through the Muslim city of Istanbul (Constantinople) killing up to 40 people.

Obviously, Allah is not paying any heed to the people, as they fast and pray during this month.

This is just more proof that it is a WASTE OF TIME to pray to that false god as he takes CREDIT for all the DISASTERS that happen on this earth:

Every misfortune that befalls the earth, or your own persons, is ordained before We bring it into being. That is easy enough for God (Allah); so that you may not grieve for the good things you miss, or be overjoyed at what you gain. (Sura 57:24).

Unfortunately, the English language—and many other languages—do not differentiate between JEHOVAH—the Triune God of the Bible—and the false god Allah....Both are called "God" and people who use the expression "one nation under God" may actually mean: one nation under Allah!!

September 9, 2009. ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Flash floods killed 31 people in northwest Turkey, sweeping through the city of Istanbul, swamping houses, turning highways into fast-flowing rivers and drowning seven women in a minibus that was taking them to work.

Twenty-four died in Istanbul, Turkey's largest city, after two days of the heaviest rain in 80 years produced sudden flood waters which engulfed low-lying areas. Another seven died in Saray, west of Istanbul, five of whom were from the same family.

The Muslim month of RamaDAMN is from August 20 to September 18.

The 9th month of the Islamic lunar calendar is called RAMADAN .... but it should be called RamaDAMN because the false doctrine of FASTING to save one's soul has sent millions to the center of the stationary earth.

The Muslim calendar is a LUNAR calendar based on 12 lunar months in a year of 354 or 355 days. The months follow the course of the moon from new moon to new moon.

The Gregorian calendar that we use is USELESS because it does not follow the course of the moon. A month can begin anytime during the lunar month.

A lunar month is approximately 30 revolutions of the moon about the earth. It begins with the new or waxing (increasing) moon and end with the old or waning (decreasing) moon.

Ramadamn is the equivalent of LENT in the Latin church except it lasts for a month instead of 40 days.

Here is the quotation about Ramadamn from the Koran:

Believers, fasting is decreed for you as it was decreed for those before you; perchance you will guard yourselves against evil. Fast a certain number of days, but if any one among you is ill or on a journey, let him fast a similar number of days later; and for those that cannot endure it there is a penance ordained: the feeding of a poor man. He that does good of his own accord shall be well rewarded; but to fast is better for you, if you but knew it. In the month of Ramadan the Koran was revealed, a book of guidance for mankind with proof of guidance distinguishing right from wrong. Therefore whoever of you is present in that month let him fast. But he who is ill or on a journey shall fast a similar number of days later on.
God desires your well-being, not your discomfort. He desires you to fast the whole month so that you may magnify God and render thanks to Him for giving you His guidance.
If My servants question you about Me, tell them that I am near. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls to Me; therefore let them answer My call and put their trust in Me, that they may be rightly guided. It is now lawful for you to lie with your wives on the night of the fast; they are a comfort to you as you are to them. God knew that you were deceiving yourselves. He has relented towards you and pardoned you. Therefore you may now lie with them and seek what God has ordained for you. Eat and drink until you can tell a white thread from a black one in the light of the coming dawn. Then resume the fast till nightfall and do not approach them, but stay at your prayers in the mosques.
These are the bounds set by God: do not approach them. Thus God makes known His revelations to mankind that they may guard themselves against evil. (Sura 2:185-188).

Here is a quotation from the Dictionary of Islam by Thomas Patrick Hughes:

RAMADAN. The ninth month of the Muhammadan year, which is observed as a strict fast from dawn to sunset of each day in the month. The word Ramadan is derived from ramz, " to burn." The month is said to have been so called either because it used (before the change of the calendar) to occur in the hot season, or because the month's fast is supposed to burn away the sins of men.
The observance of this month is one of the five pillars of practice in the Muslim religion, and its excellence is much extolled by Muhammad, who said that during Ramadan "the gates of Paradise are open, and the gates of hell are shut, and the devils are chained by the leg, and only those who observe it will be permitted to enter at the gate of heaven called Raiyan." Those who keep the fast "will be pardoned all their past venial sins." (Mishkat, book vii. ch. i. pt. 1 ). (Hughes, Dictionary of Islam, article, Ramadan).

JEHOVAH commanded ONLY ONE DAY per year for fasting in the Old Testament!!

The Old Testament has a lot to say about FASTING, but JEHOVAH commanded ONLY ONE DAY per year for mandatory fasting on the Day of Atonement. Afflicting one's soul referred to FASTING:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. (Leviticus 23: 26-27).

And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein. (Numbers 29:7).

And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you. (Leviticus 16:29).

Many of the great men and women of the Old Testament fasted for various periods of time. Moses and Elijah went on a VOLUNTARY fast of 40 days.

Jesus fasted for 40 days in the wilderness in order to bind Satan before he began his public ministry.

Saint Patrick fasted for 40 days before he brought the Gospel of Christ to Hibernia.

Jesus said that people who fast in public are HYPOCRITES!!

Jesus the Son of God said that people who make a public display of fasting were HYPOCRITES. Hypocrite comes from the Greek hypokrisis which means PLAY ACTING.

Here is the dictionary definition of hypocrite or hypocrisy.

In Muslim countries, everybody is supposed to fast from sunup to sundown for the month of Ramadamn. Non-fasters will get a visit from the police... Everybody knows that everybody else is fasting.

This public and mandatory fasting is directly contrary to the teachings of the New Testament—the FINAL revelation of the Triune God:

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the HYPOCRITES, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. (Matthew 6:16-18).

During the month of Ramadamn, Muslims are supposed to help the poor by giving alms. This too is HYPOCRISY because Jesus said that when you do good works, you are not to let the left hand know what the right hand is doing:

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth. (Matthew 6:1-3).

Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days in order to bind Satan before he began his public ministry. St. Paul fasted for 14 days in the bottom of a ship on the way to Rome. The early Christians fasted but nowhere does the New Testament mention MANDATORY fasting.

As an Augustinian monk at Erfurt, Saint Martin Luther almost starved himself to death. He believed that good works could save his soul. After he became a Christian, he still fasted diligently, but never boasted about it or gave rules for mandatory fasting.

Jesus said that people who pray in public are HYPOCRITES!!

During RamaDAMN, Muslims are "encouraged" to go the mosque and pray to Allah. Jesus the Son of God said that people who make a public display of praying were HYPOCRITES:

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. (Matthew 6:16-18).

In the New Testament, there were many times when the believers held prayer meetings, but those meeetings were voluntary, and were not done ostentatiously.

The only "reward" these Muslims will ever get for their so-called "prayers" is the approval of their peers for carrying out the mandated rituals of the Muslim religion.

Good works can never get a person into Heaven!!

Obviously there are some Muslims who sincerely believe that their PLAY ACTING or SHOWBIZ will get them to Heaven when they die. That is a LIE from the old Serpent the devil and Satan. Here are JUST 5 of the relevant Scriptures:

And he (Abraham) believed in the LORD (JEHOVAH) and he counted it to him for righteousness. (Genesis 15:6).

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (John 6:29).

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:5).

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (Galatians 2:16).

The Triune God does not predestine anyone to hell!!

Unlike the false god of the Koran, the Triune God does not predestine everything that happens on this earth. Here is a quote about predestination from the Koran:

Every misfortune that befalls the earth, or your own persons, is ordained before We bring it into being. That is easy enough for God; so that you may not grieve for the good things you miss, or be overjoyed at what you gain. (Sura 57:24).

The false doctrine of predestination is actually a SLUR on the nature of the Divine Being because it makes God the author of evil.

Everybody is born with a FREE WILL, and can chose the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom:

The fear of the LORD (JEHOVAH) is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. (Proverbs 9:10).

Editor's Note

During this lunar month, all Triune Christians should fast and pray (in secret) for the speedy overthrow of Islam . . . and the Vatican!!
