Jericho will soon be under final Lockdown!!

This is an exposé of the city of Jericho ancient and modern!!

In the Old Covenant of the Holy Bible, the city of Jericho is a type of the entire world at the end of time; the king of Jericho represents the Vatican and Islam, Joshua is the Returning Messiah, and the Scarlet Cord in the window represents the only lifeline to safety.

470 years prior to the Fall of Jericho in 1577 B.C., JEHOVAH promised the Land of Canaan to Father Abraham. Satan had almost 500 years to prepare the land against an invasion by the descendents of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel....Jericho was the strongest and most heavily fortified city in the entire Promised Land.

When JEHOVAH dried up the Jordan River and all Israel crossed over, the city of Jericho was placed under LOCKDOWN:

Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And JEHOVAH said to Joshua: See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. (Joshua 6:1-2).

Before this lockdown, Joshua sent out 2 men to scout out the city:

And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to scout secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there. And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither tonight of the children of Israel to search out the country. (Joshua 2:1-2).

These 2 men symbolize the Holy Spirit searching out the hearts of men and women for any that wanted to escape the coming destruction of Jericho.

To their amazement, they found a harlot who was fully convinced that JEHOVAH was the one true God of the universe:

Rahab hid the spies up on the roof of her house and then made her great confession of Faith:

And she said unto the men, I know that JEHOVAH hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
For we have heard how JEHOVAH dried up the water of the Red Sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side of Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.
And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for JEHOVAH yourGod, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath. (Joshua 2:9-11).

Rahab risked her life by hiding the scouts from the king of Jericho and then she helped them escape via a scarlet cord.

Rahab hid the spies on her rooftop.
Rahab hid the scouts on her rooftop.

Rahab hid the 2 scouts and then helped them escape via a scarlet cord tied from her window.

The spies escaped by a scarlet cord.
The scouts escaped via the scarlet cord.

The scouts promised to spare her life, and all that was in her house, if she tied the scarlet cord in the window:

So the men said to her: We will be blameless of this oath of yours which you have made us swear, unless, when we come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household to your own home.
So it shall be that whoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him. And if you tell this business of ours, then we will be free from your oath which you made us swear. (Joshua 2:17-20).

Rahab's lifeline for her and her family was the scarlet cord in her window.

Rahab tied the scarlet cord in her window.
Rahab tied the scarlet cord in her window.

Rahab was told to tie the scarlet cord in her window in order to escape the destruction of the city.

Soon after the scouts escaped, the siege of Jericho began.

Marching around Jericho
Marching around Jericho.

Soon after the scouts escaped and returned to Joshua, the siege of Jericho began. 7 priests bearing 7 trumpets marched around the city once for 6 days. On the 7th day, they marched around the city 7 times and the people gave a GREAT SHOUT.

The battle cry or GREAT SHOUT that destroyed Jericho was the Hebrew word HALLELUJAH. Hallelujah is a composite word which means PRAISE JAH and is found many places throughout the Holy Bible. In the Old Covenant, Jerome translated it as Praise the Lord and in the New Covenant as Alleluia:

HALLELUJAH (Praise JAH). (Psalm 150:1).

The ground opened up under the walls and the Israelites went straight up and took the city by storm.

The ground opened up under the walls when the priests shouted and blew the trumpets.

When the trumpets blew and the people shouted HALLELUJAH, the ground opened up and swallowed the walls just like the Twin Towers in New York City.

Every living thing died in the city except for Rahab and her family.

The city was totally destroyed by fire.
The city was totally destroyed by fire.

Only Rahab's house survived the collapse of the wall. Joshua saved her alive and all that was with her in her house:

But Joshua had said to the two men who had scouted out the country, Go into the harlot’s house, and from there bring out the woman and all that she has, as you swore to her.
And the young men who had been scouts went in and brought out Rahab, her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. So they brought out all her relatives and left them outside the camp of Israel.
But they burned the city and all that was in it with fire. Only the silver and gold, and the vessels of bronze and iron, they put into the treasury of the house of JEHOVAH.
And Joshua spared Rahab the harlot, her father’s household, and all that she had. So she dwells in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. (Joshua 6:22-25).

Rahab was later granted full citizenship; she married a prince of Israel named Salmon, and she was the great-great-great-grandmother of King David and an ancestor of the New Covenant Joshua. She is an example of how JEHOVAH/JOSHUA saves His people from their sins!!

The Scarlet Cord symbolizes the Blood of Joshua!!

The Scarlet Cord symbolizes the Blood of the New Covenant Joshua. Joshua of Nazareth also came to seek and save those who were lost:

And Joshua said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10).

Joshua was known as the friend of sinners and of despised Jews who collected taxes for the Romans:

Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Joshua and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him. (Mark 2:15).

Redemption from sin is possible only through the Blood of Joshua:

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. (I St. Peter 1:18-19).

And from Joshua the Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. (Revelation 1:5).

The final lockdown of Jericho will begin very, very soon.

The Final Lockdown of Jericho will take place soon!!

In Daniel chapter 12 it says that before the end of time there will be a time of trouble such as never was in the history of the world:

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. (Daniel 12:1).

During the New Covenant era, Joshua the great High Priest is SEATED at the right hand of God:

But this man (Joshua), after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God. (Hebrews 10:12).

Joshua the great high priest is still sending forth his messengers to doomed Jericho:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:15-16).

Once lockdown begins, it will be too late to call upon the Lord Joshua:

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I do not know you or where you come from. (Luke 13:24-25).

The parallels between the Fall of Jericho and the end of the world are many.

The 7th trumpet and shout proclaim the doom of Jericho!!

The Book of Revelation is a continuation of the Book of Joshua. The parallels are obvious. Unfortunately, you won't hear many sermons on the Book of Joshua because most preachers believe Joshua commanding the sun to stand still was UNSCIENTIFIC!!

For those who have scarlet cords in their windows, the coming conquest of Jericho is not a time of feinting and fear:

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 11:15).

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (I Thessalonians 4:16).

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, (Gk. rapid) at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (I Corinthians 15:51-52).

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matthew 24:31).

The GREAT SHOUT that heralds the fall of Jericho is HALLELUJAH:

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, HALLELUJAH; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God.
For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
And again they said HALLELUJAH, And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. (Revelation 19:1-3).

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, HALLELUJAH: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. (Revelation 19:6).

If you wait until the final lockdown of Jericho, it will be too late to get your scarlet cord lifeline!!
