The Hapless Habsburgs The infamous Habsburgs.... The very name is synonymous with Roman Catholicism, bigotry, absolutism and autocracy. Believe it or not the infamous Habsburg dynasty began around the year 1240. This was around the time the Aztec dynasty began to consolidate in the New World. The name is derived from the Swiss Habichtsburg (Hawk Castle), the family seat in the 11th, 12th and 13th centuries at Habsburg in the former duchy of Swabia in present-day Switzerland (Switzerland did not exist then in its present form, and the Swiss lands were part of the mainly Germanic unholy Roman Empire). It was a Habsburg, Emperor Charles V, who condemned Saint Martin Luther at Worms. The soldiers of the same Emperor Charles sacked Rome in 1527 in order to prevent the divorce of King Henry VIII from Queen Catherine, the niece of Emperor Charles. In 1864, the Habsburg hawk met the Mexican eagle during the Mexican intervention with disastrous consequences. Rudolf von Habsburg invited Tycho Brahe to his castle in Prague and subsequently he was poisoned and his heavenly charts were stolen by Johannes Kepler!! Another Habsburg, Marie Antoinette, was the wife of King Louis XVI during the French Revolution. Both of them were beheaded by the guillotine. Napoleon Bonaparte married Habsburg Archduchess Maria Luisa of Austria on March 11, 1810. The very next year he invaded Russia with disastrous consequences.
Seated on the right is the Archduke Franz Karl, father of Franz Josef and Maximilian. He was the grandfather of Franz Ferdinand whose assassination on June 28, 1914, triggered World War I. Hitler was a Habsburg The Rothschilds and Rockefellers are all part of this demonic Habsburg dynasty. Hitler's grandmother, Maria Anna Schicklgruber, was raped by Baron Rothschild when she worked as a maid in his castle in Vienna. Hitler was of mediocre intelligence but a mesmerizing speaker and it was his ties to the Habsburg dynasty that assured his political ascendancy in Germany.
